At the end of each season we request nominations from coaches for names of players who have best displayed the values of WBYSA including sportsmanship, team spirit, effort and respect for coaches, referees and opponents.

The award given to this player is the Mullins Award. Following Ed Mahoney's founding of the West Boylston Youth Soccer Association, Tom and Vanda Mullins were very involved in the beginnings of WBYSA. The Mullins' were instrumental in organizing and fostering a soccer program that continues to serve the community of West Boylston. In recognition of their efforts and the values they established for WBYSA, we award an outstanding player this award that bears their name.

We request coaches to submit a nomination letter for a player they feel is worthy of this award to the Board of Directors prior to the end of the fall soccer season.
